About This Song
About "Nenni" by Cirrus
A lullaby with teeth, 'Nenni' rocks between comfort and menace. Cirrus uses a nursery-rhyme simplicity as a Trojan horse, the gentle melody masking a deeper disquiet. Electronic hums and a distant beat suggest a cradle that might also be a cage—sleep as both escape and surrender.
