About "Tchaikovsky: 18 Pieces, Op. 72: Chant élégiaque (Excerpt)" by Angela Brownridge
An excerpt of Tchaikovsky's 'Chant élégiaque' drifts in like a half-remembered farewell. Brownridge finds the ache inside the elegance, the melody sighing against a steady, mournful accompaniment. It's a lament that never raises its voice—grief held in a velvet glove.
