About This Song
About "Libre Penseur" by Boulou Ferre
Free thinker, but the melody is a locked room. Ferré picks apart a minor-key meditation, each phrase a question without answer. The gypsy jazz pulse is steady, yet the harmony tilts—a mind wandering against the grain of tradition.
