About This Song
About "Pardesi" by Anurag Saikia
A wandering, melancholic piece, 'Pardesi' drifts like a traveler’s sigh. Saikia’s sparse instrumentation and aching vocal line evoke distance—both physical and emotional—with a quiet tension between the pull of home and the freedom of the road.
