About This Song
About "Traditional: When The Saints Go Marchin' In" by Barbara Hendricks
Hendricks transforms the traditional march into a jubilant procession, brass and voice colliding in bright celebration. Yet her phrasing holds a hint of mischief—the saints are marching, but the singer knows the sinners are close behind.
