About "L'Olimpiade, RV 725 : Vivaldi: L'Olimpiade, RV 725: Siam navi all'onde" by Andrea Marcon
Vivaldi's 'Siam navi all'onde' sets a ship tossing on open water, the voice a lone sailor against a string-driven storm. Marcon keeps the tempo taut, the melody cresting and falling like waves. It's Baroque anxiety dressed in glittering coloratura—a beautiful, restless voyage.
