About "On to Silverado" by Bruce Broughton
A galloping rhythm and soaring strings propel 'On to Silverado' forward like a stagecoach at full tilt. Broughton captures the spirit of the Western with a modern orchestral sweep, all momentum and horizon-chasing. The calm is in the open sky; the unease is in the dust cloud behind.
