About "Drifting" by Chip Wickham
'Drifting' is Wickham at his most weightless, a flute line floating over a tide of percussion. The title becomes a state of being: unmoored but serene, a leaf on a river that might lead to open sea or a quiet whirlpool. Suspended, beautiful, unresolved.
