About "She's My Lover" by Kid Loco
Kid Loco's 'She's My Lover' is a downtempo, dub-inflected gem from the Voyage à la mer sessions. Its warm, lazy groove and whispered vocals evoke a hazy, sun-soaked intimacy, but a lingering unease—like a shadow on the beach—keeps the sweetness from ever feeling entirely safe.
