About "Baila Maria (Version 1996)" by Alabina
The 1996 version of 'Baila Maria' arrives like a sunbaked festival, handclaps and raï-tinged guitars urging Maria to move. It is flirtation as command, joy as instruction. The groove is loose, almost reckless, a celebration that knows exactly how to make a room surrender.
