About "A. Lobo: Versa est in luctum" by James O'Donnell
Alonso Lobo’s 'Versa est in luctum' sets grief in slow, dark harmonies. O’Donnell’s choir mourns with restrained power—each chord a tear on stone, the text’s lament turning into a funeral procession where sorrow and dignity walk hand in hand, solemn and unbroken.
