About This Song
About "Nini peau de chien" by Patachou
Patachou embodies Nini, a dog-skin tough who rules the faubourg with a snarl and a wink. The song struts with music-hall brass and a dangerous grin, yet the minor-key turn reveals loneliness beneath the leather. A portrait of survival dressed in defiance.
