About "Old People" by Archie Bell & The Drells
Archie Bell & The Drells turn a phrase about elders into a shuffling, wry observation—not folk, but a kind of street-corner soul with a raised eyebrow. The groove is loose, the mood gently elegiac, like watching a neighborhood change from a porch step.
