About "Concerto for 3 Trumpets, 2 Oboes, Timpani, Strings and Continuo in D : Telemann: Concerto for 3 Trumpets, 2 Oboes, Timpani, Strings and Continuo in D: 3. Allegro" by Celia Nicklin
The Allegro is a brisk procession through gilded streets, trumpets and oboes locked in spirited conversation, strings urging them onward. There's a martial swagger here, but also wit—the phrases toss and catch like something playful, not merely pompous. Telemann keeps the momentum taut, each entrance a small, bright surprise.
