About This Song
About "Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra No 2 in D minor, Op 119: Cello Concerto No 2 (ii) Allegro non troppo; Cadenza; Tempo 1; Mol" by Alexander Briger
Briger conducts the second cello concerto with a surgeon's precision and a poet's heart. The allegro non troppo unfolds like a conversation between soloist and orchestra, cadenza a moment of raw introspection. Then tempo returns, a tide pulling the music back toward its inevitable, resonant close.
