About This Song
About "Mr. X" by Cherie Currie
Currie embodies a mysterious cipher, the song a smoky backroom where identities blur. Mr. X is a shadow with a heartbeat, and she sings like she's tracing his outline on a fogged window. The tension is between curiosity and danger—a noirish thrill that never quite resolves.
