About This Song
About "Barbers Adagio For Strings" by William Orbit
A celestial reimagining of Barber's elegy, transformed into a dancefloor requiem. Orbit layers trance-like synths over the original's mournful strings, creating a tension between grief and euphoria. The adagio becomes a slow-motion rave, its sorrow elevated into a strange, shimmering hope.
