About "Driving Mr. Johnson" by Chuck Cirino
A motorik groove and wry synth melodies propel this cinematic joyride. Cirino paints a surreal commute with twanging guitars and pulsing electronics, the calm of the road disrupted by a nagging sense of absurdity. It's driving music for a destination you can't quite name.
