About "Requiem in D Minor, Op. 48: III. Sanctus" by John Rutter
Rutter's Sanctus rises like light through stained glass—Fauré's requiem rendered with Anglican tenderness. The 'Holy, holy' is not thunderous but floating, a choral hush that feels both ancient and achingly human. Tension lives in the hush before each 'Hosanna.'
