About This Song
About "Songs & Sonnets from Shakespeare: No. 3, It Was a Lover and His Lass" by The Cambridge Singers
'It Was a Lover and His Lass' trips along with rustic charm, the Cambridge Singers embodying a flirtatious spring jaunt. Beneath the jaunty rhythm, a whisper of fleeting time—youth's heat against the coming cold. It's a postcard of greenwood pleasure, vivid and unashamedly light.
