About "Songs & Sonnets from Shakespeare: No. 6, Fie on Sinful Fantasy" by The Cambridge Singers
Rutter's choral setting of Shakespeare crackles with moral urgency, voices darting like candle flames in a drafty chapel. The tension between pious warning and sensual delight is palpable, each harmony a tightrope walk between sin and salvation.
