About "Concerto grosso in F, Op. 6, No. 9 : Corelli: Concerto grosso in F, Op. 6, No. 9: 4. Gavotta: Allegro" by Academy Of St Martin In The Fields
Corelli's Gavotta bursts with rustic charm, a lively country dance filtered through baroque polish. The Academy gives it a crisp, bouncing energy—wooden floors and swirling skirts—where formal elegance and earthy joy meet in a single, spirited phrase.
