About "Palestrina: Sicut cervus : I. Sicut cervus desiderat" by James O'Donnell
Palestrina's 'Sicut cervus' unfolds in pristine polyphony, James O'Donnell conducting a cathedral of voices. The motet's serene counterpoint yearns like a deer for water—a sacred calm that trembles with profound, unspoken longing.
