About "Byrd: Ave verum corpus, T. 92" by James O'Donnell
Byrd’s 'Ave verum corpus' unfolds in crystalline polyphony, O’Donnell’s choir rendering each phrase as a shard of stained glass. The sacred text becomes a meditation on fragility—calm, luminous, yet tinged with the ache of mortal flesh, a hushed awe before the divine.
