About This Song
About "Lakmé, Act 1: Dôme épais le jasmin "Flower Duet"" by Carl Davis
Delibes' 'Flower Duet' blooms under Carl Davis's baton, its gossamer melody like jasmine unfurling at dusk. The voices intertwine with serene precision, yet a subtle melancholy lingers beneath the surface, as if the beauty is too fragile to last. Pure operatic bliss.
