About This Song
About "Requiem, K. 626 : Mozart: Requiem, K. 626: IIIe. Confutatis" by Berliner Philharmoniker
Confutatis hurls flames and weeping into the same breath: male voices snarl like a furnace while sopranos plead for mercy. The orchestral accompaniment flickers between menace and lament, a chiaroscuro of damnation and hope. Berliner Philharmoniker captures the terror of being caught between.
