About This Song
About "Requiem, K. 626 : Mozart: Requiem, K. 626: IVb. Hostias" by Berliner Philharmoniker
Hostias lifts a sacrificial prayer on quiet wings, the chorus hushed as if afraid to disturb the dead. Woodwinds glimmer like votive candles in a crypt. Berliner Philharmoniker renders the offertory with tender restraint, a whispered promise against the Requiem’s gathering dark.
