About This Song
About "Shim Sham Shimmy" by Champion Jack Dupree
A shimmy that shakes the floorboards loose. Dupree's piano is a freight train of rhythm, his voice a conductor yelling over the clatter. From a rowdy rock & roll rarity collection, this is pure release—calm nowhere in sight, just joyful, sweaty chaos.
