About "Soft Pillow" by Amos Milburn
Amos Milburn’s jump-blues piano rolls like a lumpy mattress, but 'Soft Pillow' hides a rowdy edge—boogie-woogie rhythms that refuse to let you sleep. The title’s comfort is a tease: beneath the plush groove, a restless night of juke-joint energy simmers.
