About This Song
About "That's All I Want Baby" by Willie Dixon
A tender, almost pleading blues, Dixon's vocal is a soft hand on a shoulder. The guitar is a gentle ripple, and the rhythm section is a heartbeat. The tension: a simple request that carries the weight of everything, a want so modest it feels like a dare, a love that's all ask and no answer.
