About This Song
About ""The Four Seasons" Autumn-Allegro" by Antonio Vivaldi
Autumn's 'Allegro' is a harvest dance with a shadow. The strings reel with rustic joy—peasant celebration, wine and stomping feet—but the minor-key turns hint at the frost to come. Vivaldi's genius is letting the festivity feel earned, each bowstroke a toast to abundance before the inevitable lean months.
