About This Song
About "Carnival of The Animals "Royal March Of The Lion"" by Camille Saint Saëns
Saint-Saëns' regal lion strides through a fanfare of pianos and strings. The march is pompous yet playful, a cartoon king surveying his domain. Beneath the grandeur, a sly wit suggests the majesty is just a performance.
