About This Song
About "The Arms of Mine" by Tony Joe White
A tender outlier on Lake Placid Blues, this ballad wraps White's gravelly whisper in warm, unhurried guitar. The arms of mine become a shelter, but the emotional pull lies in the quiet fear of holding too tight.
