About "Gabrieli: Timor et tremor (C142) Motette" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A Renaissance motet trembles with holy fear: Giovanni Gabrieli's polychoral writing splits the choir into shimmering blocks of sound. The King's College voices capture the text's paradox—a quaking dread that resolves into luminous trust. Listen for the spatial drama, as if stone arches themselves are singing.
