About This Song
About "Little Women (Mono Backing Track)" by The Kinks
Stripped of vocals, this mono backing track reveals the Kinks' baroque pop architecture—harpsichord twinkle and a wistful, music-hall sway. It's a skeleton of a song, yet the melancholy lingers, a quiet longing for something just out of frame.
