About This Song
About "Twist contre twist" by Annie Cordy
Cordy's 'Twist contre twist' is a spirited duel of dancefloor one-upmanship. The jaunty rhythm and call-and-response vocals evoke a playful showdown, where the twist becomes a metaphor for youthful rebellion. It's pure 1960s exuberance, tinged with the innocent thrill of competition.
