About "Ein deutsches requiem, Op. 45: IV. Wie lieblich sind Deine Wohnungen" by Accentus
Brahms's 'Wie lieblich' unfolds like a slow sunrise over a cathedral roof. Accentus shapes the phrase with tender gravity, letting the sopranos float above a bed of dark-hued harmony. The music trembles between consolation and longing, a dwelling place that feels both heavenly and achingly human.
