About This Song
About "Ave verum corpus, K. 618" by Accentus
Mozart's final motet becomes a whispered prayer in Accentus's hands. The choir suspends each 'Ave verum' like a drop of water on glass, blending Renaissance purity with Romantic warmth. Beneath the serene surface, a quiet ache lingers—the body of Christ imagined as both comfort and wound.
