About This Song
About "Steamroller (My Baby Got Run Over By a)" by The Adicts
A macabre nursery rhyme set to chugging punk guitars. The steamroller becomes a grim metaphor, flattening innocence with cartoonish menace. The Adicts balance black humor against genuine dread, turning a grisly image into a singalong that leaves a queasy, grinning aftertaste.
