About This Song
About "La Salida de Lima" by Gustavo Santaolalla
Lima exhales in this track—a city's clamor replaced by the open road's hum. Santaolalla's guitar picks a path through residual urban tension, notes scattering like dust behind a departing bus. There's relief and melancholy in equal measure: the thrill of escape shadowed by all that's left behind.
