About This Song
About "Montana" by Gustavo Santaolalla
Vast and windswept, Santaolalla's Montana is a landscape of sparse, reverberant guitar—each chord a lone pine on a ridge. The emotional tension lies in the stillness: a serene expanse that feels less like peace than a beautiful, daunting emptiness, where the self shrinks against the scale of the land.
