About "Suite for Solo Cello No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007 : J.S. Bach: Suite for Solo Cello No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007: I. Prélude" by Mischa Maisky
Another reading of Bach's Prélude, here Maisky leans into the music's meditative core. The arpeggios bloom with unhurried grace, each chord a stone dropped into still water. The calm is profound, yet a subtle unease hums beneath—a solitude that feels both sanctuary and sentence.
