About This Song
About "Pecos Bill" by Larry Groce
Groce spins the tall tale of Pecos Bill with a storyteller's twinkle, guitar galloping alongside. The mythic cowboy's feats grow wilder with each verse, yet a thread of melancholy runs beneath the bravado—a legend outliving his own landscape. It's folk revival with a wink.
