About This Song
About "J.S. Bach: J.S. Bach: French Suite No.2 in C minor, BWV 813: 1. Allemande" by Andrei Gavrilov
The Allemande from Bach's C-minor French Suite walks with stately grace, yet there's a shadow in its step. Gavrilov emphasizes the harmonic bite beneath the dance's polite surface—a courtly bow that conceals a clenched jaw. Elegant, yes, but never entirely at ease.
