About "Diferencias sobre la gayta" by Al Ayre Español
Al Ayre Español's 'Diferencias sobre la gayta' is Baroque variation as a game of shadows. The title's 'differences' unfold like a theme passed through a prism, each turn both familiar and strange. There's a courtly calm, but beneath the ornamentation, a quiet, restless invention.
