About "Keyboard Concerto in D Major, BWV 1054: I. -" by Glenn Gould
Bach's D Major concerto opens with a confident, striding theme, Gould's piano bright and forward. The orchestral accompaniment is warm but unobtrusive, letting the keyboard's intricate figurations shine. There's a sense of poised exploration, orderly yet quietly adventurous.
