About This Song
About "Wish Me Well" by Willie Dixon
Live at the Village Gate, Dixon turns a wish into a slow burn. The rhythm section locks in, the harmonica moans, and the crowd's hush becomes part of the arrangement. 'Wish Me Well' is a goodbye dressed as a blessing—generous on the surface, bitter underneath.
