About "Three Ecossaises Op. Post 72, No. 3 - 1, 2 + 3 : Chopin: Three Ecossaises Op. Post 72, No. 3 - 1, 2 + 3: No. 2 In G Major" by Anatol Ugorski
Chopin's miniature ecossaises arrive as three brief, bright sparks, each a flicker of ballroom nostalgia. Ugorski plays them with a light, almost provisional touch, as if dusting off a forgotten music box. The G Major number skips with polite charm, but a faint melancholy lingers beneath the courtly steps.
