About This Song
About "Kreisler: Liebesfreud" by Arthur Grumiaux
Kreisler's 'Liebesfreud'—'Love's Joy'—is a Viennese whirl of sparkling violin and lilting piano, played by Grumiaux with infectious charm. But beneath the buoyant triplets, a whisper of wistfulness: joy remembered rather than possessed. A dance that smiles through a tear.
