About This Song
About "You Bastard (Alternate Version)" by Alternative TV
An alternate take on venom, 'You Bastard' spits with undiminished bile. Alternative TV's sneer is intact, the guitar a serrated edge. The version shifts the angle slightly, revealing new facets of contempt—a portrait of anger that's both ugly and strangely cathartic.
